Michelle Wong is a Research Assistant with the GOPC’s Systems Science Core. She is interested in obesity prevention and health disparities. At the GOPC, she is currently working on developing models to understand how factors within Baltimore corner stores can influence adolescent snack purchasing behaviors.
Michelle received her BS in Molecular Biochemistry and Biophysics from Yale University. She has previously worked in management consulting at IMS Consulting Group with their Pricing and Market Access practice. Following that, she worked as a research assistant at the Brookings Institution’s Engelberg Center for Healthcare Reform where she worked on FDA regulatory policy. She is currently a third-year doctorate student at Johns Hopkins School of Public Health in the Department of Health Policy and Management. Her advisor is Dr. Sara Bleich.
